Howden Bat Walk
Bats are amazing creatures and we are so lucky to share our local area with them.
This free walk, organised as part of our Wild Ways Well nature and wellbeing project, and led by an experienced TCV outdoor leader, will take us around Howden Walled Garden and the woods which surround it.
We’ll look for bats, learn about how they live, and hear some of the traditional stories that people have told about them in Scotland.
We’ll have bat detectors along with us so we can hear the bats coming and hopefully they’ll treat us to a show!
This event is aimed at adults but families with accompanied children are welcome.
Time: 7-9pm
