Join Aisling, our Nature Rehabilitation Ranger, for a range of nature-based activities to support your health and wellbeing and make space for nature.

Watch out for emails from Aisling regarding planned activities and meeting points.  Activities include guided nature walks, gardening, making plant teas, nature connection techniques for improved wellbeing and land art.

Meet Aisling at the shed in front of Occupational Therapy Building. This group helps enhance the grounds and gardens. Tasks include weeding watering and light maintenance. Contact Aisling for further info.
LEAP New Shoots ProgrammeMondays 13:30 -15:30 This is a closed group for LEAP patients focusing on connecting with nature outdoors and exploring the grounds of the Astley Ainslie.

More details will follow on the following:

  • Staff sleep support workshop (22nd July) – Come and find out about how natural herbs and scents can support your sleep. In partnership with the Work Well Team
  • Fungi of the forest evening (21st August) – Spend an evening with a fungi expert exploring the wonderful world of underground fungal networks!
  • Astley wildflower scything festival (1st & 2nd September) – Come and join us to use traditional techniques to maintain the newly established wildflower areas.
