Green Health Activities at Astley Ainslie: February 2025
Join Aisling, our Nature Rehabilitation Ranger, for a range of nature-based activities to support your health and wellbeing.
All activities will be run by Aisling unless otherwise stated. If you need additional support to participate, or have any questions, please get in touch: [email protected].
Our timetables below outline the different staff, patient and volunteer activities on offer.
Staff Activities

| 11th February | Big Garden Birdwatch: Help us do a bird survey on site and be part of the biggest citizen science collection in the world | All staff AACT invited | 12.15- 1pm Drop in. 1.05-2pm Drop in | Pet Cemetery Orchard (see map) | All equipment provided but please bring any extra binoculars. Warm waterproof clothing recommended as we will be standing still. Leaflet to take away. |
| 25th February | Basic Orchard maintenance workshop: Come and learn more about how to look after our orchard or your own apples trees. Practice on our trees | All staff AACT invited | 12-2pm Drop in | AAH orchard next to the Consultant’s Bungalow (See Map) | Warm waterproof clothing recommended as we will be standing still some of the time. Leaflet to take away. |
