Nature Connection and Wellbeing Walks
Join Lou, our Nature Rehabilitation Ranger, for a regular lunchtime walk to support your health and wellbeing, top up vitamin D and connect with nature.
Regular participants have loved the opportunity to switch off and connect with nature and there is plenty to see.
Dress for the weather, we will stick to paved areas with the occasional detour into the undergrowth! If you need additional support to participate, please just let Lou know.
Where: By the Bio Quarter sign outside the Chancellors Building
When: Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtimes: 12:30 PM – 30 or 45 minutes. The route can be adjusted to suit attendees on the day. Please note we stick to the allotted times to ensure everyone can return to work on time.
Staff Growing Workshops
What: Join Lou for Tuesday lunchtimes for a series of windowsill growing workshops. From microsprouting to successful herb growing Lou will show you how to grow something nutritious and fresh from your windowsill at home.
Please note – aprons and gloves will be provided.
Where: OPD6 courtyard. If its raining please find Lou in the Work Well/Charity Hub instead.
When: Tuesday lunchtimes 1.30-2pm or 2-2.30
