RIE Nature Ranger – Summer Round Up

It’s been a busy couple of months here at the RIE.

Regular windowsill growing workshops have proven to be particularly popular for staff wanting some fresh air, time out and to do something totally different. Feedback has been overwhelming positive with participants now confident how to keep things growing, one person has even grown cucumbers.

Wellbeing Walks remain a firm fixture in the weekly calendar and it’s been a great opportunity to connect with one another in the wonder of small things- we’ve almost grown bored of the chiff chaff and found orchids in the grassland only to lose them again. From butterflies to blackberries it’s all out there waiting for us.

We’ve responded to bespoke requests for support and currently partner with Medical physics, DCN therapies, Bereavement services and Speech and Language Therapy. Read on to find out more about some of the projects we’ve worked on together.
